The exhibition year in Konsthall 16 begins with a presentation of Gerry Johansson’s unique photographs from competitions in Formula 1, 2 and 3 from the 1960s and 70s. Depåstopp or Pit Stop, is a departure from the strict and frugal black-and-white images he is known for, Johansson is in the middle of the action during a time when the tracks were more open and – with a camera in hand – possible to get even closer.
