Antonsson spoke with Sofia Edgren for Dagens Nyheter in an in-depth interview exploring the ideas, materials, and themes behind the exhibition. Most recently, Bo Madestrand reviewed I Am Everything for the same newspaper, writing that Antonsson’s “manipulations add a layer of enigma and aestheticization, as if she has embellished the images and given them new, deeper meanings outside the media flow.” You can read the review here (in Swedish). SVT Kultur likewise highlighted the exhibition, describing Antonsson’s images as making “the everyday strange – so that we can see it in anew.” Monopol wrote an extensive review about the exhibition titled ‚When Shells become Weapons‘. You can read it here (in German)
AnOther Magazine featured a conversation with Antonsson, in which the artist reflects on her desire “to make something soft really hard, and hard soft,” describing beauty not as an end in itself but as a means to challenge vulnerability, representation, and the conventions of the photographic medium. Musée Magazine also published a feature on I Am Everything at Fotografiska Stockholm. Read the AnOther Magazine interview here, and the Musée Magazine feature here.
