Using performative strategies, Yvon Chabrowski examines the inherent life of circulating media images in relation to the body and transforms them into expansive video sculptures. For the Kunstverein Ruhr, Yvon Chabrowski has developed a video sculpture that redefines space, in which, among other things, bodily images of colonialism are experienced and set in motion.

At Kunstverein Ruhr Chabrowski will show new video work as well as clay sculptures. An artist talk will take place on the last day of the exhibition at 4 pm.
